Energy, Environment and Sustainable Chemistry
The aim of sustainable chemistry is the reconversion of existing technologies to new clean processes with the underlying aims of pollution prevention, reducing or eliminating the use of dangerous substances and developing products and processes with reduced environmental impact. In this field, which is also known as "Green Chemistry", particular emphasis is dedicated to the development of processes and technologies which employ economic and environmentally friendly energy sources.
